I am back at my blog, not sure if anyone reads it, but I enjoy documenting my crafty endeavors anyway. I just recently finished Summerlin by Kathryn Ivy . I simply love this dress! I made it for my neice's third birthday, and it was a definite hit. Best part was, I spend 50 cents on the fabric for the bottom, and I already had the top yarn. Weird. The bottom is a skirt I found at a church rummage sale. I liked it, but knew it was too small for me, but it was perfect for this pattern. The top was knit in Lion Brand Cotton Ease, terracotta. I couldn't be happier. Next up is trying to size it down to knit a replica for American Girl dolls. My other niece loves her dolls, so I thought it would be an awesome birthday gift. We'll see if I can do it.
